Study! Study! Study! That seems to be the consensus in NTU right now! Everyone is busy on their lecture notes and the undone tutorials and of course all the study tables are packed with students discussing what will come out and what topics they need to concentrate etc etc etc..... As usual, students like shortcuts, who doesn't? After all thats the draw of gambling isn't it?
Speaking of Gambling, I think the Singapore government is really going to liberalize this sector by opening the first integrated resort with world-class facilities and attractions - a built-in casino included. Well, which corporate entity in this world will want to invest billions to build a mega resort if there's no casino involved? The Mirage, Treasure Island, Atlantis Resort, Genting Highlands Resort, The Venetian and many more international reknowned mega resorts have an integrated casino. Well seems like the government has no other cards to play but to do this to get a budget surplus. Hey, I would do this too, you know, cos thats what I did in Sim City 3000 and when the city gets a budget shortfall, just build anything and legalize anything that can earn you money. Period!
As for my revision, it has been OK so far, at least I am within schedule. Seems it is the only time in my undergrad life that I really was once in schedule when it comes to revision! Studied Cell and Molecular Biology yesterday (which is my first paper) and Fluids Engineering today (which is the paper I dread to complete). A bit slow in revision today but I hope it will be better over the weekend. Still thinking of whether to stay in hall next Monday and Tuesday cos I really seem to be able to study better at NTU rather than at home.
